How Starshelf Lounge Handles Your Data (UK GDPR)

The data controller

The controller for personal data processed through starshelflounge.com is the operator of starshelflounge.com. Contact: [email protected].

Contents of your account

What	The reason	Kept how long
Nickname	Your display name in games	Until account deletion
Email address	Recognising the account when you return	Until account deletion
Password hash	Lets you sign in while we never hold your password	Until account deletion
Sign-up date	Help requests and abuse reports	Until account deletion

And that is all. Your real name, address, date of birth and phone number are never requested, and neither is any payment detail, because there is nothing in the tower to buy. Passwords are kept solely as a one-way hash. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract: we need these items to give you the account you asked for. Delete the account from your account page and every item goes immediately.

Stored in your browser

What	Function	Kept how long
Coins, level, missions, settings for each game	Resuming where you stopped	Until you wipe browser data
Age confirmation	Avoiding a repeat prompt on each page	Until you wipe browser data
Cookie choice	Storing your consent	Until you wipe browser data

It remains on your device; we never receive it.

Google tags, if you say yes

Pick “Accept all” and we load Google Analytics and Google Ads tags; these count visits and show whether an advert produced play, such as a first spin. Google receives your IP address, device information and those events. Pick “Essential only” and the tags stay in consent mode, without cookies or advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.

Server request logs

For security, our host retains standard request logs briefly. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

What we avoid

Payment data: never collected, as nothing is sold.
Marketing email? Only on request.
We never sell or rent your data.
No data goes to gambling operators; no gambling affiliate links exist here.
